I’ve become a pretty big fan of the Eclipse IDE for Java. I understand that it’s capable of a lot more than just a slick IDE, but the extra stuff doesn’t get in the way of what is, essentially, a really slick IDE.

You can download the software that NASA uses to control the Mars Rover (sort of). Pretty cool
